Janan is not only well-acquainted with all 17 COIs, we have cross-matrixed every technology area with the appropriate DoD proponent organizations that are potential Transition Customers, including the relevant Prime Contractors.

Communities of Interest (COIs)

The DoD has 17 different Resource 21 Communities of Interest (COIs) for technology areas with joint interest across all Service branches. The COIs were established to encourage multi-agency coordination & collaboration in cross-cutting technology focus areas with broad multiple Component investment. Each COI defines its technology & platform interests, such as the Advanced Electronics COI below.
